Reach Out To Horses is a one-of-a-kind holistic horsemanship program which combines proven natural horsemanship, animal communication, and the use of energy for both training and healing the horse. The foundation of the program, however, is an understanding of not only the techniques of natural horsemanship, but becoming fluent in the Language of Equus.
I've spent most of my life studying and working with horses. I know, after reaching out to literally THOUSANDS of horses, that the key to success in horsemanship is learning how to interpret and "speak" the horse's natural language.
But, holistic horsemanship goes way beyond learning a few techniques or trying to force the same step-by-step method on every horse you meet. It's a mindset, the desire to build a trust-based partnership with the horse, and fluency not only in their language, but an intimate understanding of their psychology as well.
I teach my program in person to beginners, experienced equine professionals, and all those in-between, worldwide. But, even with the exhausting travel schedule I keep, I don't feel I've given enough people the opportunity to learn exactly what it takes to become a "Horse Whisperer."
You see, when you learn and commit to master these principles and skills, you not only improve your own horse's life, but, if you decide to continue your education and become a professional horse trainer, you'll have many opportunities to SAVE horses.
I'm often called in when what's been used isn't working, and the horse has just ONE MORE CHANCE before being abandoned to the pasture, or worse, to the auction block.

We will meet twice each week for 2 1/2 hours through May 3rd. I'll share much of the knowledge I teach in my hands-on classes, and as an extra bonus, several experts in different aspects of holistic horsemanship, including Leslie Desmond, Melisa Pearce, Allen Pogue & Suzanne DeLaurentis and Judy Sinner, will present and answer your questions as well. It isn't often you get the chance to absorb the knowledge of so many experts in their respective fields in a single place.

Session One: Tuesday, April 17th, 2012, 6 PM Mountain Time
Horse Whispering Defined: Connection & Communication
In this first session, we'll cover many of the nuances of the Language of Equus, the grammar of which is RICH in the use of body language, and the detection and direction of energy. Understanding and mastery of THIS ALONE will set your skills above those of the average horse trainer or enthusiast. It is one of the skills exhibited by legendary Horse Whisperers which makes what they do appear to be magical.
Session Two: Thursday, April 19th, 2012, 6 PM Mountain Time
Horse Whispering Defined: Becoming Fluent in the Language of Equus
In this second session, I'll be discussing how to use the obstacle course at liberty, in-hand, and even while riding to perfect your use of energy, telepathy, and body language to build not only your confidence, but the horse's as well. We'll discuss using obstacle course liberty training to build the trust-based partnership you've always wanted with your horse. I'll also cover how to avoid behavioral issues with trust-building exercises. As a special bonus, Judy Sinner, a nutritional expert with Dynamite Supplements, will join us to discuss how nutrition plays a key role in holistic horsemanship and training, as well as in the avoidance of behavioral problems.
Session Three: Tuesday, April 24th, 2012, 6 PM Mountain Time
Horse Whispering Defined: Positive Reinforcement and the Proper Use of Rewards
In this session, I'll be teaching you how to identify what motivates the horse you're working with and how to use that to bring out the very best in the both of you. I'll cover the proper use of food as a reward, and under what circumstances you may want to consider using it. To add a little fun to this session, Alan Pogue and Sue DeLaurentis, experts in equine trick training, will be joining us and presenting how to teach your horse something which should be fun for both of you, using food and other positive rewards.
Session Four: Thursday, April 26th, 2012, 6 PM Mountain Time
Horse Whispering Defined: Solving Behavioral Problems Compassionately
If you download the series, I'm confident you'll find yourself returning to this session time after time. During this meeting, I'll discuss some very common problem behaviors you may currently be working with, or if you're around horses for any length of time, you WILL be confronted by. Biting, striking, boxing, trailer loading problems, and evasions while riding, will be just a few of the problems we'll be covering. We'll be joined by renowned horsewoman Leslie Desmond, co-author with Bill Dorrance of "True Horsemanship Through Feel." Leslie will present her top tips to overcome problems in you and your horse's development as a team.
Session Five: Tuesday, May 1st, 2012, 6 PM Mountain Time
Horse Whispering Defined: Equus as Your PERSONAL Self-Help Guru
In your journey with the horse, if you haven't already, you will find out that much of what we do when partnering with the horse is mental. Let's face it, before you can take an action, there must be a thought. In this session, we'll cover how important the use of your mind and making a true connection with the horse on not only a mental but spiritual level is to successful Horse Whispering. During our meeting, we'll see how, in building a trust-based partnership with your horse, you may in fact be looking straight into a mirror, polishing your own rough edges, and in the process, enriching your life and other relationships. Melisa Pearce, renowned Equine Gestalt Psychotherapist and Trainer, will join us to discuss the use of the mind, telepathic communication with the horse, and the use of energy in holistic horsemanship.
Session Six: Thursday, May 3rd, 2012, 6 PM Mountain Time
Horse Whispering Defined: Holistic Horsemanship From the Ground to the Withers
In our final meeting, I'll be bringing together all we've discussed in the series to show you how the principles of holistic horsemanship are applied when you're in the saddle. Are you aware exactly how sensitive your horse is, and how they can feel your energy, your moods, and your intent while you're on their back? Do you have an understanding of how the horse can become an extension of your body and mind, and how this connection will improve when you ride using your intuition? During this final session, I'll set aside a bit more time to answer any final questions you have about Horse Whispering and Holistic Horsemanship, as well as how you may continue your education beyond the webinar.
